Let's request a check.
Let's request a check.
To request a check, navigate to the case you are looking to request the check for.
Navigate to the "Check Req & Expenses" section on the left hand side.
Click "Add an Item", circled in green below.
After clicking "Add an Item", you will see a fresh set of fields used to add your check request to the case.
Select your Item Type (Medical Records, Court Costs, etc.).
Add your Payee, Amount Due, Date and Memo.
Please note that accounting does NOT receive data from the "Notes" section.

Instead of clicking "Create" at the top of the screen, click the "Send Accounting Check Request" button at the bottom. This will send the check request over to the accounting portal for processing. See below.
